[Catacomb] Dynamic User Authentication using database

Hi All,
I use Catacomb with Apache 2 to deploy DASLed server.
However, there are a few limitation since they use
static authentication.
My Questions About Dynamic Authentication:
Are there any ways to add user dynamically to database
and server can authenticate those users without
stopping it?
I see 2 modules authenticate users using database:
1. mod_auth_ldap: use LDAP
2. mod_auth_mysql: use MySQL
they both have to preconfigure user information in
httpd.conf => not convenient for real deployment.
Please let me know if you know any way to authenticate
users dynamically.
Thanks a lot,
Quan
